| About 35 kilometers away from downtown São Sebastão, this beach
is separated from the others more to the north, by a small mountain range that in the past made its access and
communication with the town quite difficcult.
That is why Boiçucanga developed its resources and facilities on its own:
banks, post office, hotels, restaurants, lodges for all tastes and pockets. The local fishers throw their nets
at the mouth of the river at the left end of the beach where one can always buy still struggling fishes.
It disputes with Maresias the preference of
youngsters and has an intense nightlife and a complete touristic infrastructure. |
