| Located 18 kms north of downtown, bordering the county
of Ubatuba, this beach is loved by children, proper for bathing and has shallow, normally serene
waters.
North of the Tabatinga river the beach becomes crowded with intense
jet-sky, boat and canoe traffic, due to the proximity of the Ilha
do Tamanduá island.
There one can also take a look at an original fishers village with
its canoes.
To its south there is a luxury residential condominium. Tabatinga is
a neighbour of Mocóca beach.
